Agree, Cooks seems cooked, or is it lack of imagination from play design? He runs very simple routes and not very effective.

Did Brooks play at all?

The other day, I think it was against the saints. He was running full speed and the corner was in his back pedal keeping up with him real easily.

Cooks is cooked. Dbs have no reason to be afraid he'll run by them
That is a huge problem for our offense. Speed kills at every level of football. Our skill players on offense are slow as molasses collectively. When no one is afraid you can get buy them, there is no consequence from playing physical at the line constantly. And it doesn't help our WRs aren't great at separating from this.

When you deal with the guys over 30 it can end at any time. He’s still got something but he’s a undersized possession receiver at this point.
He's Kelvin Martin @ best......Part of the problem is McCarthy's playbook though....and having him run 20 curl routes a game....DBs are sitting on those....daring him to go deep.....knowing Prescott can't complete the deep ball.
