Cooks is simply in a Horrible coach scheme for his skill set

McCarthy is running Cooks like he' a big possession WR.

Only running Cooks on those damn stop routes, comebacks and curls.

You don't do that with a small, speedy vertical WR.... We did not trade for him for that.

With a speed WR, you want him on the move, on the run, in stretch designs where he is on the move, on the run, not dead-stopping
his momentum.

- Other problem is Dak simply cannot connect with him on deep go fly bombs ... He is either gonna Over-throw Cooks, ..or it's gonna be
a badly Underthown ball.

If it's a big WR on deep balls who can battle- contest those underthrown passes air balls - that's our best chance for deep bomb passes
but it won't be a true speed guy like Cooks or Turpin ... Dak is having issues with deep throwing to these smaller speed guys !

He's Kelvin Martin @ best......Part of the problem is McCarthy's playbook though....and having him run 20 curl routes a game....DBs are sitting on those....daring him to go deep.....knowing Prescott can't complete the deep ball.

Cooks skill set is Not Cole Beasley- Kelvin Martin smallish SLOT guy....

His skilll set is more Desean Jackson, ..Tank Dell.. Tyler Lockett,...Jameson Williams, .. vertical outside guy that should be schemed/used in on the run, ..on the move.. stretch plays ... shallow drags, flies and goes ..deep middle crosses, hitches ...

Those kind of previous mentioned names and skill set simply do not fit McCarthy Tex Coast offense - the dink n dunk type.

- I still wonder if it was much more the front office coveting Cooks and his speed - instead of McCarthy wanting Cooks -cuz it damn sure
does not seem like. Cooks is not McCarthy's type WR.

If Cooks were in KC Chiefs,.. Miami, ..Detroit.. Houston ..type stretch design pass offense - it would have been a total different and
much better productive path than what he is experiencing with McCarthy pass offense. Wasting talent here.

- Only way out for Cooks to improve is either ... FA departure to those type teams/offense
- .. or we overhaul McCarthy outta here and implement a Shanahan like offense with a Klint Kubiak, Ben Johnson or Bob Slovak as new HC.
