Agree, Cooks seems cooked, or is it lack of imagination from play design? He runs very simple routes and not very effective.
Did Brooks play at all?
Come back routes only

AmenI think they know dak can't consist make the throws cooks needs to be effective.
Some of us don’t make knee jerk reactions. Some of us have been trying to say he has been done for a while
Between Gallup and Cooks, we've had #2s at 7 figures playing like #3s.Cooks is cooked. Dbs have no reason to be afraid he'll run by them
I think it's a bit of both. The offense isn't doing him any favors.Agree, Cooks seems cooked, or is it lack of imagination from play design? He runs very simple routes and not very effective.

Some of us actually watch the games and dont make excuses for playersSome of us don’t make knee jerk reactions.
Our number 1 draft pick next year needs to be a WR with serious speed, because outside of Turpin our receivers must be the slowest group in the nfl who get zero separation. Thankfully Dak was throwing dimes last night.
But we are so damn slow it seems, wandale Robinson seems like the fastest player ever compared to our guys yesterday.
And they are all so small. I think CeeDee is our tallest WR. We are tiny and slow at this position
Round 1 speed wr
Round 2 kiiddi
No kidding.. I can't tell you how many times I found myself wincing when the ball left Dak's hand only to see a dart basically force the receiver to catch it in self defense. I think Cooks will have his games. He needs the right kind of matchup to do his thing. Curse of the short quick receiver is that if you get matched up on a short quick corner you need multi-cut routes to create any separation and it doesn't look like our offense features a lot of those. Though if I'm not mistaken Cooks obliterated his man on one in the Cleveland game. But the lack of pass protection might be the reason we don't see a lot of those. Our number 1 draft pick next year needs to be a WR with serious speed, because outside of Turpin our receivers must be the slowest group in the nfl who get zero separation. Tolbert isn’t exactly magical out there but he has ability as a Patrick crayton type Possesion receiverI would give Tolbert more snaps, maybe Cropper or Flournoy.
Cooks just doesn't seem to have the juice anymore.
He, like 99% of this team, simply sucks.
That’s all the explanation you need
I'm often pretty quick to shoot down trade options, but WR is one that seems to have guys at least being shopped around each year. Diontae Johnson may be a guy to keep an eye on in Carolina as we get close to the deadline.I wouldn't be against trading for a better WR2 this season, bigger or faster, or better both, is there anyone out ther little Stevie would be open to paying for?
Not a star of course, but someone that can have an impact on this offense.
I like to see what Flournoy can do but that won't happen, not for this season.
