According to the NY Daily News, free agent Brandon Jacobs is seeking a contract similar to the one Dallas gave Marion Barber last offseason.

Barber's pays $45M over seven years with $16M guaranteed. Jacobs is one of the five most physically gifted backs in the league, but his inability to play a 16-game schedule makes him risky at that price tag. Jacobs said that he is "confident" a deal will be reached before the Feb. 27 free agency period, but the Giants haven't come close to meeting his asking price yet. Jan. 30 - 7:40 am et

Barber looks to be overpaid like 75% of the people we "locked up," but the O-Line didn't do him any favors.
