Im not going to argue with you anymore, we will never agree. The league is set up to allow players to hold out for more money and to allow owners to cut players at any time regardless of the contract. If you cant understand that now, then you never will.

Honestly I kind of see where he's coming from on it think of what that team had and where they were sitting a year ago now, look at whats going on and has happened there. you lose your coach, and your franchise QB and gain what? a mediocre offensive coord as your new coach bleh

I'd be upset as hell if some unproven coach comes in a tears apart the team that was set up well and looking to be a very solid team again (they only really needed a quality HB) granted I would have gone about it in other ways but some of the same ways as well.

I really think hes just a young dude that knows they had something good and now he's looking at the ruins left over after a HC change and wants out of the situation and I can't say that I blame him

You don't seem to understand that not honoring an NFL contract is against the law. You seem to think the NFL teams are not honoring it when they cut a player. They are, otherwise they would be in breach of contract. If they were in breach, the player and his agent could sue the team and the NFL would fine them. Funny how that doesn't happen right? Cause they honored the contract as it was written. It is written with the ability to cut the player. The player signed a contract that allows that. Otherwise the entire contract's value would have to be guaranteed. (like in baseball)

I apologize for wanting him on the Dallas Cowboys last night. I never saw that video where he punted the ball after a drill and batted down balls like he was throwing a tantrum. I don't want him. I apologize.

he really is baby TO, what a scumbag
Yeah, he should be more like Barry Sanders who wouldn't fight for his right to get off the team (by any means necessary) so his career came to a premature end because Detroit management pimped him, then kept him from moving out.

What Detroit did was inexcusable. Barry as of today, should be the tops in yardage and considered the best RB to ever lace it up, but now he's barely mentioned in the subject and what a shame.

If you're unhappy with where you're at, and they promised your release and lied, then do what you have to do to send the message that you won't be held hostage.

You want to talk about he's under contract, it doesn't prevent a team from cutting a guy from the team that he may want to continue to be on since he's under contract to play there, so if Management can screw the player, then screw the front office.
