I had a feeling mid season that he had something... Just needed to get playing time.

Love this guy!

He's got no time and possession awareness

I loved that he got the redemption or he would be getting killed today.

I did a survey at the watch party I was at:

Demarcus Lawrence was personally responsible for no less that 4 sharts, and even worse things... :omg:

True, I saw someone here last night say it should be instinct, from high school on, to just fall on the ball in that situation, so this might mean Dlaw is just not a smart player. This might be why he is having trouble making an impact. Hopefully the other guys will get him straightened out, because judging by that speed rush on the last play, he does have some skill.

I don't think him not being smart would have anything to do with making an impact. That would be a skill issue if true. Leon Lett was a veteran and made a bone headed play. Players of all levels make bone headed plays in every level of sports. I'm saying the play itself was dumb. It's hard to say he's a dumb player because of it. It happens.

And people are expecting way too much of a rookie who missed all of training camp and preseason and the first 8 weeks of the season. To just come into the NFL game at the speed it's played and expect an impact. Not going to happen with a rookie.

Agreed, and you'll not find a bigger fan of Leon (The Big Cat) Lett that I am, but sometimes stupidity can cost you. Leon wasn't smart enough to leave the weed alone, and it hurt his career and in turn the Cowboys. I do think he could be in the hall of fame if not for time lost to dumb decisions

But was it worth losing a 3rd round pick? In my eyes YES! All for a playoff win.

It was worth it if he can develop into a consistent pass rusher for the Cowboys. That was a big play by him yesterday but hopefully that is just the beginning because there is no doubt this team has to be able to generate more of a pass rush than we have.

DLaw said Wilcox wasn't berating him, and said, "The team helped me out a lot. J.J. came up to me, told me, ‘Hey keep your head in the game and go out there and make another play.’”

It looked like some of those wild animal video's Marinelli has been showing them hit home. He lunged at Stafford like a predator taking out it's prey.

D Law said his goal was to get 10 sacks, well the post season is a perfect time to get them :)
