Not to be insensitive but we can find the wolf hunter in the draft.Serious question........would you offer LVE a long-term deal if returns to his rookie form or let him walk?

That’s a tough oneSerious question........would you offer LVE a long-term deal if returns to his rookie form or let him walk?
Hard to say he’s not good but he’s certainly not availibleI think Washington could be out because he is 1: Not very good 2: Hurt
I think Washington's injury might be a blessing in disguise. It's good to see what we have first in our youngsters then to rely on other team's backups.
To be honest, I'm starting to think Brown and/or Fehoko may put Washington out to a job. In other words, I'm feeling much better about our WR room now than two weeks ago.
Cowboys Training Camp: Leighton Vander Esch a Big Surprise
The linebacker returned motivated on a one-year deal and has shown improvement. Plus, receivers are stepping up after injuries to Michael Gallup and James Washington.

He wasn't very good in Pittsburgh, and they are pretty much a WR factoryHard to say he’s not good but he’s certainly not availible
And his contract is an easy one to move on from when healthy
Monkey pox?IDK, but something about having to avoid contact is the most I’ve seen. No idea what that could even allow us to speculate.
I've never liked the idea of bringing in James Washington. Like you said, Washington was not a good WR in Pittsburgh, and that's because Pittsburgh is a WR factory like you mentioned. He wasn't very good in Pittsburgh, and they are pretty much a WR factory
Yup that’s what has me raising my eyebrow:is he saying Feheko is a TE?
Now that's a stretchis he saying Feheko is a TE?
Very strangeYup that’s what has me raising my eyebrow:
“Simi Fehoko might be part of that equation, too. He looks like he could grow into a real factor in the passing game in his second year out of Stanford. His improvement may mean we see Dallas in more two-tight-end sets, which would help the team manage the receiver injuries through September. And it might give the Cowboys some flexibility in how they approach Dalton Schultz’s contract situation after the season.”
No one else find this strange?
They won't be. Don't get fooled by the yearly training camp Noah brown hype.I agree. I think Washington could be the odd man out by the time he leaves IR if the others are performing well.
Serious question........would you offer LVE a long-term deal if returns to his rookie form or let him walk?
Yeah, it is kind of strange. Breer (who is very football savvy) is clearly thinking of Fehoko as a TE. I do know that the team said early in the offseason that they wanted Simi to gain weight to have some TE duties (I’ll try to find something on it). Breer watched practice, so he must’ve seen Fehoko playing some TE or having some TE duties. At least that’s my guess.Yup that’s what has me raising my eyebrow:

Not that much.Now that's a stretch
FRISCO - Dallas Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy recently pulled aside rookie Simi Fehoko and offered up a revelation that may be both a) a reflection of the talents of the fifth-round All Pac-12 receiver at Stanford and b) a reflection of the possible coming void in the Dallas receivers room.
"Potentially, this year, you gain a little bit more weight and we can use you as more like a hybrid tight end-receiver-type body,'' McCarthy told Fehoko this offseason.
And Fehoko may find himself pushed up the depth chart. As a wide receiver. A "hybrid.'' Something.

If he played ST's I wouldn't mind him as a 5th guy. But he doesntI've never liked the idea of bringing in James Washington. Like you said, Washington was not a good WR in Pittsburgh, and that's because Pittsburgh is a WR factory like you mentioned.
