we know how to play Hurts.he is not very accurate but will run if he sees a lane and will take a shot every series down the field.the key is if whether we can stop the run enough to keep them in 3rd and longs.

A lot of guys had free rushes it seems - that was a combination of our guys being good and the Rams O-line being bad.

Gonna be real interesting this Sunday, we're going to be facing a better O-line and a very mobile QB...

I see Hurts running quite a bit Sunday out of necessity. Need to have edge contain . LVE and Barr going to be quite important . This is where a Jabril Cox sideline to sideline can really help but he must not have the confidence of Quinn at this stage .

The pass rush is basically the QB of the defense. If you have a great one it can make up for a lot of other deficiencies.

It's the only way we win on Sunday night. The only way we contend for anything this year. It's why I'm really hoping Sam Williams can arrive soon. He's got the skills to be another major problem for teams to deal with.

Just getting Sam Williams started, and he looked to be settling in once he started getting involved.
This defense has the ability to improve with players like Williams, Bland, and a potential Clark and Cox eventually.
This defense is not done improving, that should be kind of scary to OCs everywhere.

And could someone tell me why we dont run the screen - I dont care what kind of offense you run, you have to be able to run a good screen.

Something tells me Hurts may live up to his name when confronted with the Dallas pass rush. Wondering if he'll even be able to finish the game. QBs around the league will be having nightmares in anticipation of contending with their punishment. You've just gotta love what this Cowboys' defense is about.
