But really, Philly's oline against Dallas dline. And Dallas oline vs. Philly dline.

I don't think Dallas prepared for Jones as a running quarterback.
I don't expect the same mistake for Hurts.
But you're right about Hurts in that he's more slippery than Jones, which will force Dallas to commit a spy against him.
I don't think the Cowboys did that for Jones.

the great equalizer is ALWAYS an elite Defense. All stats get thrown out the window. If we force philly to play our style of ball, we win. Philly is playing fast break style Football right now. If we set the tone early, they are in trouble. If we get into a shoot out, we might lose the game. That said, lets not be shocked if Rush plays the game of his life if he has to throw the ball a bunch. Dude is capable. I think Rush will have 3 td's and 350 passing. Out of necessity.

BTW, I luv Baldingers passion for a job well done. I can listen to him all day. When he says something I listen carefully because his evals carry alot of weight and cred. We can pressure the QB 3 deep. Reminds me of the 90's teams we had where we had literally 3 deep quality talent at every level across the dline. WE ARE STACKED. I think the realistic comp for this defense is the Ravens defense style of the early to mid 2000's. Micah is the Ray Lewis on this team. We go how he goes' PERIOD. He is the heart beat of this team.

Even if we lose this weeks game, I aint worried 1 bit. Because I realize we have a resilient team that will only learn and get better every week and I am realizing that Mike McCarthy and Quinn are coaching their arses off and have the team buying in. We will lose some games guys, but in the end, I think we will finish 11-6 and get a wildcard and make a deep run. Philly may well win the division but we will get revenge and beat them in the playoffs. Archive this and remember I said it. We shall win 3 playoff games and get to the NFC Title game barring injury. Defense travels very well in december guys.

I agree, he reminds me of him a lot.

Only thing is, Sam is a 4.4 guy with that body type while Suggs, i believe ran a poor 40 but was probably like actually a 4.7 type of guy. He was also the nastiest player in the NFL lol

Sam seems to have an edge to him but far from the nastiest player in the NFL. I believe he is going to be a monster the 2nd half of the season.

I think this will be a game where we get into a high scoring affair. But we will win. Rush will find a way. Rush and Turpin will be the difference makers. This game will put the league on notice that this offense is very capable of scoring. I see a 34-28 win. It will be a fist fight.

Something tells me Hurts may live up to his name when confronted with the Dallas pass rush. Wondering if he'll even be able to finish the game. QBs around the league will be having nightmares in anticipation of contending with their punishment. You've just gotta love what this Cowboys' defense is about.
