He is a down to earth, no axe to grind analyst and he is 100% right. They have gone as far as Dak and McCarthy (this includes Quinn) will take them and they may need to blow it all up. The schemes are predictable and the personnel are built for the schemes. It doesn't work consistently when the challenges to winning are at playoff contender level.

It's to the point where the regular season doesn't matter anymore. Obviously it does, but that's not the perspective. After another playoff flop - arguably the worst in team history - no one is going to care about the Cowboys' season. They could go 15-2 and all it will be is "let's see what they do in the playoffs," and the team knows it.

Each year the pressure to get that monkey off their backs grows. They folded under it again, and it'll be even greater the next time. Good luck breaking the cycle.

The defense was absolutely pathetic and was really bad the last month or so. If only one has to go it's got to be Quinn.

If that means Dak and McCarthy another year, so be it but don't extend neither one. Next year is the last year of Daks contract I believe
