If it weren't for the 3 straight 12 win seasons and the best regular stretch we've had in a long time I think it would be an easy decision to make for Jerry. Personally, I think what happens with Belichick likely becomes the biggest determining factor of Jones moving on from McCarthy.

Baldinger is right that you can't run it back as is so I expect there will be changes, just not sure it comes at head coach.

It's to the point where the regular season doesn't matter anymore. Obviously it does, but that's not the perspective. After another playoff flop - arguably the worst in team history - no one is going to care about the Cowboys' season. They could go 15-2 and all it will be is "let's see what they do in the playoffs," and the team knows it.

Each year the pressure to get that monkey off their backs grows. They folded under it again, and it'll be even greater the next time. Good luck breaking the cycle.
Post of the day!!!!!

you guys aint getting crap. You're getting fat mike, chokescott, and dumb quinn and you will like it. Don't forget to start looking at the draft like that is going to fix this crap. Jerry said he's building back better and you guys will love it. Let's hear some noob say we need carl-lott to run the team. sheesh, you can't make this crap up.....

and remember...you're dumb and stupid if you don't like it. You have to bend over and say, "May I have another?" 28 years...

If they value the soap opera aspect of the team ….every show needs fresh storylines

New young coach and you advertise it as “Dak’s last stand”

Uhhh....no player that I know of right now.
There isn't a player like that. Dallas must get some alpha dogs on this team they shine in the brightest moments. They are obsessed with winning championships and playing their best in the postseason. Somebody that has no issue calling out guys to step up

The heat will turn up every season until the playoff skid stops.

Agreed. I think we’d be better off stumbling into the playoffs at 9-8 with injuries, on the road in the winter weather, no expectations.
