Brian Waters?

and just for laughs

not bringing back Holland last year when our guards were stinking up the place

we blew our chance to get him when it mattered.

For the Pollyanna's that keep claiming that our staff knows what they are doing on the O line that was one of the biggest mistakes we made not going after him

So wait... we missed out on a chance to sign a guy that's out of football a few years later? Somehow I dont think Patriots fanss look back on the Waters signing and see it as a good thing.

I've posted some bald head stuff on here and he's full of crap. I apologize for all my time posting his stuff. He just makes up stuff on twitter to get hits. I'm more credible than him.

Yeah, reading some of his stuff reminds me of reading Floaty's hot rumors.

Really?

He made the Pro Bowl while the team made the Super Bowl. How is either a bad thing?

I'm not buying this bit of information, but the guy does work for Dallas Cowboys Star Magazine and does audio shows on the Cowboys website so he should have direct contact to scouts and officials to get good information.

After Ray Dominguez got hurt, I figured we'd sign someone as a camp body, at least until Bernadeau is practicing again. Arkin had to take all the 1st and 2nd team reps on Tuesday, not really what you want to see. But Waters? That wouldn't exactly sound like a camp body signing. I'll trust Broaddus over Baldy on this until proven otherwise.

Signing Waters two years ago would have been genius. Getting him last year might have helped us make the playoffs. Getting him this year....just smells of desperation and failure.

Yeah, his selfish holdout really destroyed the Patriot's line.

...oh wait, the Pat's line was one of the best in the league last season.

Again, in your rush to make up excuses, answer the question asked:

How is either Waters making the Pro Bowl or the Patriots making the Super Bowl a bad thing?

And if the Patriots line was so good, how come they didn't again make the Super Bowl?

And how about the guy who replaced Waters (or tried to), did he also make the Pro Bowl?

Funny that people throw out "the guy is done."
And, Mr. Football Expert, you know this how?

I could only see this if they were planning to have him as strictly a back up instead of Livings or Bern. Otherwise I just don't see this happening.

I agree with you here. And if it were done, it would be for the short-term obviously.

But if he's a better option than Livings (reports I've read are mixed) or the once-again not practicing Bernardeau?

I'm all for it.

Yeah. Holland was so awesome that not a single NFL team wanted to employ him

well unlike You I actually did some looking and he made it plain it was the boys or nothing. Now of course you can make up whatever excuse you want....
