In Oakland he looked like a guy who enchants you with his physical attributes but can't seem to put it all together to finish a play. Looked similar yesterday.
He hadnt even had one full week of practice.
And alot of people on this board are really short-sighted. Devin Street offers no deep threat on the outside. Without a deep threat that safeties have to pay attention to, this team is going to have lots of trouble running the ball. Which puts Weeden in lots of third and longs. Recipe for disaster.
There is a reason Butler was active this week with only 3 days of practice under his belt. The coaching staff knows we need his deep play ability. And Devin Street offers none of that. Give the kid a chance to practice a full week before judging him on lining up in the wrong place or running an imperfect route after 3 days of practice.
Butler was the intended target on two plays that I recall and seemed to botch them both, including the one where Romo broke his clavicle, so... no.
Tempted to dip Vince Mayle in stickum from head to toe and sign him to active roster. Mayle's bigger and faster than Street, and he couldn't have any more trouble holding on to passes.
faster than street lol

Actually that's false... Romo was looking for Witten but the safety read it well which caused Romo to have to double clutch the football.

It was Beasley's route that Jenkins jumped. It looked like Romo was looking to throw to Beasley running a slant. When Jenkins jumped the route, Romo pulled the ball back and that's when the poop hit the fan.
