Brilliant advice to Dak: Tuck the ball more, thread the needle less

I would like him to run more too. Unfortunately I think that ankle break scared the daylights out of him and he's more afraid to now (with good reason, sure. Romo running broke his back.) Still, he has to be a threat to run with his style of play.
A bad o-line and the refs letting him get beat up broke his back.

The QB should bring a couple scramble runs into the mix just to present the threat and give the defense something to think about.

Both Hurts and Jones did this effectively against the Cowboys.

Like a brick...you keep missing the point. The issue isn't that you blast Romo. Blast away my man. You are free to do that.

But let others have there's too....just like you demand you get yours.

We all have our own criteria. You have yours and demand it...other have theirs and have their right to it as well. Don't be a hypocrite about it. Don't you have something better to do?

The Crusades are extremely vain, arrogant and narcissistic...when YOU do it yourself.
Once again, when has Dak ever gone Hollywood or flown out of the country during the playoffs?

I actually don't want QBs to run, except if pocket is breaking down and then scramble forward as much as possible. if you need a QB to run to have offensive success, then your offense has a problem. it also doesn't lead to success necessarily. Running QBs don't really make it to the super bowl, until they actually stop running and take on passing.
Sure everyone wants a QB that can stand and deliver but even the great ones in the NFL today still take off when it matters most. Burrow, Mahomes, Allen, Wilson when he was good. It is the blue print. If you don't have that guy then you need to feature the QB run as part of the offense. Hurts, Jackson, Cam, 2016 Dak. Eiehter of those solutions are viable. What is not viable is to take someone in the second group and try to turn them into someone in the first group. That appears to be the boat that we are currently in.

I am not opposed to a mobile QB. but throwing first, scrambling second. Jackson is one of the best, yet his playoff success is limited and all of the onee you names are great passers from the pocket. their scrambling just extend plays. do they have designed runs time to time? yes. but its not staple of their offense.

I dunno. Maybe he did an dmaybe he didn't. You once again miss the point. I can;t explain any easier to you.

I'm really hoping you are trolling me...like you admit to doing to many people. If not....may God help us all.

His argument was that Dak needs to run more and when the read isn't really open just tuck it or toss it into stands.
It is based largely upon INT rate which again is just goofy as that was a 1-time occurrence that was double the average of his prior 4 seasons.

The team also wanted Dak to stop throwing into heavy traffic but as Will McClay has a brain instead of stating he should run more or give up on the play by tossing it into the stands they went out and signed Brandin Cooks and drafted an R2 TE.

Joey set out to solve a problem Dak doesn't actually have (and after the team had remedied the true culprit) by suggesting he take more hits to avoid picks.

.
Okay cool. I thought he said "when it presents itself"...not out of need or to be featured. My bad.

Dak will never be an excellent accuracy QB who can always be reliable. He's pretty good and some of his strength came from being a run threat. Take that away and we see what we've seen the past couple of years after his injury. He's afraid and struggles at the most inopportune times.

Unfortunately, this is just dumb.
Joey has done this a long time but this one is a bad miss.

Dak is a vet QB who has been injured multiple time sin recent seasons.
He does NOT need to run more.
If anything he needs to run only when it really counts.
See Mahomes in the Super Bowl.

And the INT thing is so simple brained.
Dak has an elite career INT percentage.
In the 4 seasons prior to lasty year he had an INT% below 2.0
2022 was an outlier in a big way.
Arguing he should take more punishment to throw less flies in the face of all basic logic.
Over his last 3 seasons, his int% is 3.3. The dude is not getting better. Dak is who we think he is.
