Brilliant advice to Dak: Tuck the ball more, thread the needle less

Teams aren't playing a bunch of man against the Cowboys, there aren't going to be running lanes.
This will fly below most folk's radar but is absolutley true... First they need to be able to force teams out of the shell zone (which a healthy MG and Cooks can help with) when they can attck that then force man blitz you will probably see more Dak picking up easy 5 to 10 yards with scrambles.

Dak is too slow to run. He ran a 4.79 at the combine 7 years ago. It's probably around 4.9/5.0 now. His average, over the course of his career, is only 17 yds/per game. He ain't going to tuck and run. Maybe the best run he ever had was the tremendous run he had to end the 49er's game 2 years ago.

We can debate back and forth all day about how Dak should be used properly, but until Dak actually understands his limitations and how he can improve his game with a more limited conservative approach, than its all just hyperbole.
Dak could be a great conservative QB, but we don't know that, even now going into year 8, but we definitely know going into year 8 what he cannot do.

Issue being lm not sure he's fond of scrambling on the rebuilt ankle. I've watched a lot of clips of him from 2016 vs last season. Too me, the untrained eye, he seems to run stiff and doesn't cut the same. My hope was they'd move him about a bit this year, but I'm not sure it's possible.

Over his last 3 seasons, his int% is 3.3. The dude is not getting better. Dak is who we think he is.
That is completely untrue.
He threw 4 INT for a 1.8% clip in 2020.
He threw 10 INT for a 1.7% clip in 2021.
He threw 15 INT for a 3.8% clip in 2022.

for the 3 years he had 29 INT in 1212 attempts. That is 2.3INT % not 3.3

My man, time get better at QB eval and math.

You had the top rated scoring offense in the NFL the last 3 years with Dak at QB.
You had the 25th rated scoring offense without Dak over the same period.

Any advice that risks his health is just dumb as dirt.

Ruffians, Joey Ickes of SB Nation nails it! Nails, I say!

When we tie in the idea of so many of Dak’s interceptions in 2022 coming in these same situations (third downs, 2-minute drills or Red Zone; me parenthetical), and late in downs when scrambling would likely be a sensible alternative, maybe asking Dak to tuck and run a time or two more per game rather than trying to fit the ball into a tight window to his third or fourth read might be beneficial.

Grand advice to our gunslinger, grand!

Holla and brings me a dollah!
Another dumb post. As much as I love you.

No, that comes down to better QB play, simple.Let’s not blame the coaching. After 7 yrs, a qb should know all they need to know.
Which is what exactly?

So what about the last 30 years? Should we blame all the QB's? Or maybe your just a QB bozo?
