Bring back Zeke and leave Tyler at guard

Zeke was a beast back in the day…but now is a shell of the RB he once was; Pollard barely broke 1000 yards last season behind an OL that will be less talented this season. Now if you want to bring him solely for blitz pick-up I might be for that.
I understand the logic about moving Smith to LT, but I think he should stay at LG given he was all-pro last season; qand having a new LG with a new C would create weakness on an already suspect OL.

yessssssss, leave zeke and Smith exactly where they are!!!! Don't mess with something good, there's a reason why they never considered bringing zeke back this past season! Smith is better at guard, why mess that up

Tyler needs to move to LT.

I'm ok with Zeke on a 1 year cheap deal. But he's mostly the short yardage RedZone guy. Needs to learn ST too.

I am certainly not a zeke guy at all but if youre bringing him back on the cheap in a role different than what he had here before I wouldnt scoff at it. I am on the Trey Benson train for now as the backs we have to choose from this year are so so. I think the best one is injured in Brooks so I really dont want him. Zeke could mentor benson maybe or the RB coach could work with him.

I actually think there is a good chance Zeke will sign after the draft.

Tyler Smith is best left at LG. We need a talented LT at that level, not a guard. Tyler Smith has his problems with good 1-techs.

If Zeke is willing to accept a vet minimum pay, bring him back. Draft Texas RB Jonathon Brooks and let him keep rehabbing to be ready to go the 2nd half of the season. Meantime, have Zeke and Rico carry the load until Jonathon Brooks is ready to contribute. This beats any other plan out there.

I've said it before. If Zeke will sign for the vet minimum, I'd bring him back as my short yardage specialist, knowing he's also an excellent pass protector.

Draft Texas OT Christian Jones in the 3rd round. He has played both Right and Left Tackle positions. Very good talent that can be had in the 3rd round.

Zeke hasn't ran behind two good guards since him rookie year. he can get 1000 behind Tyler and Zack at guard.
Zeke is at the "Coach, if you need a yard, I'll get you three. If you need five, I'll get you three" stage. Not much left in the tank IMO.
