How 'bout when he came back early from a serious injury, risking further injury, to play for the Eagles in the Super Bowl ?
I guess you missed his quote about if he knew he wasn't going to get a new contract this year he wouldn't have played in the SB. He played for one reason....to get a new contract period.

Wow, you're right, I missed that. Link please.

Still, truth be known, most all NFL players are interested in the money.

I just think a guy that risks further injury, if not his career, deserves some props.

Perhaps if all of the Eaglettes would have performed like Owens, they would have won.

I have no idea where the link is but it was posted here about a month ago. I think it was from the same interview where he agreed with Irvin on Farve.

We can do it without TO?

Who is to say? Its very hard to win the SuperBowl.

Bringing in TO just helps our chances.

Remember BP has lost a superbowl with Bledsoe. They both need all the help they can get... AND BP knows this. So does Drew. If they could get him this year THEY WOULD.

Yes it's true Dallas might get to the SB with him but it more likely he'll be the usual cancer he is and tear the team apart.

I'd rather have players from the Eagles OL than TO - that is where the Eagles have the biggest advantage.

Me personally, I'd rather crap out 6 inch cacca balls covered in concertina wire.

In short, I can't convey my displeasure of the idea strongly enough.

Don't want TO.

BP got rid of potential trouble makers in Ross and Bryant..... I can't see why he would bring this tird in!!!!

Neither Ross or Bryant were REAL playmakers. Only potential. They didnt have enough chips to play in BP's game.

Bryant may never reach 1000 yards receiving in a season. I think he has 3 TD's so far this year.

Ross - 3 years 3 teams. This year NO team. Atleast Terrell Owens makes it to the field and will again next year.

For his 4th team in 4 seasons. Owens may or may not make it to the field. One thing is certain, he's not a guarante of a championship. Of that, there can be no question. Every team he's came to and left, has been worse off for there association with him. That is a very real statement.

The 49'ers were in decline and have started rebuilding. TO had nothing to do with that.

The Eagles have been anxiously trying to close that window of opportunity and OWENS did not have a hand in that. That team has been on decline(masked by the NFC mediocrity) for some time now.

I dont see the connection. Sure he had problems and was an *** when in both org's but he didnt affect them.

The Eagles will surely blame him. They wont blame McFlabb.

There is NO DOUBT that TO makes it to the field next year. None. I would love to see him make it this year. In Dallas.

Yo- Mick, Pull the blinders off.... He won't make it to Dallas this year.... Philly will keep him inactive for the rest of the season, for which I'm very thankful. He will be released in March and will probably sign with some other team for one year. I will be extremely happy if it's someone other than Dallas. :starspin

I will always support the team but I will never accept TO even if bringing him here results in a championship. To me, there are some things that are more important in life than winning. I never want to have to apologize for winning and if we win with TO, I can see us being called mercenaries and other garbage. I want to win the right way by bringing players who understand what the term respect means.
