Nah, we were able to sign him to the practice squad in early September. In fact, we cut him from the practice squad a few weeks later and signed him again. We ultimately waived him outright a few weeks after that in October.

Whitehead makes Dunbar expendable as your "X factor" guy.

If Zeke gets hurt and McFadden is also still out, suddenly your relying solely on Morris.

I'd rather keep our best strength padded.
