I still don't see what Jackson has done to make him a likely candidate to get snapped up. Almost EVERY team has a RB like him.

Respectfully disagree. Hes 230ish and can fly. He did not come from a top tier strength and conditioning program, and he has some pretty obvious flaws to his game that are correctable. He is a developmental prospect with all the tools.

McFadden and Dunbar will be lucky to survive the season without getting injured getting off the bus.

I'm betting that someone snaps him up just because Dallas has shown a talent lately of picking decent RB's and they don't want Dallas sneaking in another if they can steal one.

What's it going to be then, eh?

That is true. Despite the smug ideas that backs are "fungible", young cheap backs will be appealing to clubs that don't have bodies. The Colts and Commanders in particular.

Against the Texans bums?

That would be a stupid evaluation tool.

We should already know we will do the idiot route and keep two unreliable backs in Dunbar and McFadden.

Dunbar has been reliable in the passing game. McFadden was reliable last year.

I wish Broadus would fill us in on who we might be interested in getting, such as Austin Davis or if we have any interest in Sanchez.....as for Jackson, I've said all along that Lucky should bump Dunbar off the roster. so we should keep Jackson and put McFadden on the NFI or pup whatever.

Gus Johnson, yes that guy, got snapped up in the first round of cuts.

Try and sneak him, just don't cry when it doesn't work.

THE GUS BUS LIVES ON

I would say ESPECIALLY the Commanders because we snapped up their RB who's going to kill it for us.

The definition of someone that goes on the practice squad.

I look at Jackson like I look at Showers, they are too good to waive but there is still a decent chance they would clear waivers. In 2014 RB Ryan Williams was the same way - most fans thought he would never clear waivers but he did. In 2013 it was DE Ceasar Rayford.

Just because Lucky can run jet sweeps doesn't make him worth a F as a receiver. He's terrible at that. He is no replacement for what Dunbar brings.
