Here’s the transcript for those that want to accuse me of reading into things:
BB: “There’s going to be some questions about Tyler Guyton. Was he healthy enough to play, did he want to play? There’s a lot of things swirling around in the air on that.
JC: What do you mean Bryan (laughs)
BB: You know exactly what I mean. You do a pregame show, you got sources. There’s always going to be questions is it hurt or are you injured? Can you play through things? That’s what it takes for some young folks to understand. I’m not alone in this. Brad Sham was talking about Guyton on our pregame show. I asked two or three people myself, and got this same vibe. It’s a learning experience for a lot of these guys. I’m not calling Tyler Guyton a coward. I’m just saying you’re in week 10 of an NFL season. You might have to fight through some things.
JC: If Brad Sham talked about it then we can do even more, because I talked to somebody. I don’t like being reckless..
BB: If you’ve got 2 or 3 people talking about it it’s not reckless.
JC: I would say there are concerns and worries going into the draft about how Tyler Guyton deals with adversity. I heard even at the Senior Bowl when he was being asked to go on a different side and it wasn’t going great, that multiple times you had to tell him ‘No, no please stay.’ And he didn’t even want to stay. But that’s just what I hear.
BB: This is a tough game, and things are going wrong for this football team. They need their young players to step up.
