He’s the kind of guy to call the secretary sweetheart and linger around her desk too much.
I would think if he got a regular radio gig he would. Those are on at the same time each day, that's pretty regular.
That's why I don't bother with anything he does. People here have defended him saying he never does what you just described and it's laughable. Both argue their points in the same way. Mickey just has a hard time admitting he is wrong about anything. BB will always admit if he got something wrong.
I remember a caller a few season's ago was arguing a point (they kept the caller on for quite awhile), Mickey treats the caller like the biggest idiot in the world. Literally 2 or 3 days later the FO does everything the caller was talking about and Mickey then proceeds to say it was a great move by the FO and something that needed to happen (for quite awhile). Did he really forget the caller he had eviscerated for 20 minutes 2 days before??
It's Ok to be wrong. Just find it distasteful when folks cannot admit they are wrong or provide any info or insight into why suddenly they do a complete 180. I imagine this is why so many people see him as a company "yes" man. I enjoy him on the show at the same time. It's an opinion/debate style show.
He has done this quite often over the years.
He played at LSUNever cared for Broaddus and his football "analysis" I don't think the guy played a down of football in his life and it was comical when the guy tried to break down film!

Did he say this on the Fan? Maybe he’s taking over for the Ben/Skin slot. He’d be a big draw

Not yet. They supposedly have a gig lined up that they are waiting to announce. The Ben & Skin ordeal was a big surprise to me.
They first got bumped from the prime drive time slot to the mid-day slot, then they departed.
The station has new ownership.
Have Ben & Skin shown up on somewhere else yet?
It was a reasonable conclusion prior to Derek Eagleton wishing him well. His boss isn’t going out of his way to talk about the great job he did if he was fired for either his opinion or personal behavior issue.I just laugh at those who have absolutely ZERO actual knowledge of something yet make guesses as to what happened.

he also just said mickey Spagnola had nothing to do with him leaving. just heard this on 105.3 the fan minutes ago. this is as obvious a lie as a lie can be. at least he's smart enough not to burn bridges.Cern he has now since said he left for a sports radio gig and my guess it was an offer he couldn't turn down and had a time limit on accepting it and starting.

the powers that be decided the acrimony between bryan and the mick was detrimental to the show. ergo, one had to go. the groveling mickey got to stay.hahahhaha! His decision to leave? It was also Jimmy's decision to leave. This just in they both were fired!
I got a crush on Amber Garcia!!!!!He obviously had a crush on Ambar Garcia.
He and Mikey got into a real pissing argument right before he left. Mikey was real angry as was Bryan.I'm starting to buy this Mickey thing now. What's interesting to me is his boss, Derek Eaglton, posted extremely positive tweets about him yesterday. But nothing from Mickey who is obviously a senior level reporter for them. More interesting to me is last week, Thursday or Friday I think it was, a caller on Talkin' Cowboys asked about Bryan...and Mickey responded sharply that you'll have to ask him...and then sharply repeated it...while the other hosts didn't say a word. Quite different than what The Break responded with when they were asked, they made sure everyone knew it was not health related and that it was personal and he's ok.
*EDIT*
Hah, what the hell do I know, just as I post this I see the tweet above saying:
"Just wanted to make something clear here. @Spags52 had nothing to do with me leaving the Cowboys. I enjoyed my time with him. He challenged me and I him. Nothing but respect there."
I remember the Emperor! He was a Cowboy warrior, handing out Mams with caustic humor...

admiral rickover always encouraged us to speak our minds, even if it got us thrown out of the program. the man hated butt kissers.See I have Zero issues with an employee who gets fired when they speak their mind especially when it comes to the Cowboys because most likely they've made a valid point and "the other side" is either offended, insulted, or they think the other party isn't on board with the rest of the program. It's really funny when it comes to Jerry and a lot of fans that if you speak objectively you are now an outsider or an anti-Cowboy which is so far from the truth.
