Twitter: Broaddus done as Cowboy employee

This is a MASSIVE loss. Bryan was extremely high level at what he did and has outstanding knowledge of the draft. 31 other teams should be lined up to hire him.

Not massive to me, since I liked Talkin' Cowboys even before Broaduss came on.

Everson Walls was on yesterday and had some great insight into the mind of Belichick. He said he has the players do scouting reports on offensive guys’ tells (always locking fingers before throwing, never under center for a pass, etc) so that they take ownership of what they’re doing on the field. They may get best but they’re almost always assignment sound.

Finding someone obnoxious isn’t a choice.

hes the Kind who you see coming and think “ugh i

oh no he’s dying to look for a new job mid season during a cowboys playoff push even tho he’s drafted his whole identity around “the cowboys guy”.

this was totally his call and he didn’t try to swing his weight around behind the scenes

I've heard him numerous times and never once did I get the impression he was obnoxious. He always struck be as someone with real knowledge of the game.

No he's drafted his whole image around him have been a professional scout for THREE other teams beside the Cowboys. He got a ring while a scout for the packers in 1996.
.

I agree. I like Mickey but the younger fans tend to think he is just a curmudgeon.

I like Mickey but I also think he is curmudgeon haha.

He’s always been a quality guy on that website but he’s also a company man..

Uh...ok it's been a few days now...

Well, with Broaddus out of the picture, I hope that the Cowboys media team recognizes it is time to expand Mickey Spagnola's role.

We will need more truth talk and tough love now more than ever.

Some people don't get sarcasm in print, but that's hilarious.
