Broaddus is questioning Dak's IQ

It's common sense who the loser is for 3 games! Tired of Dak taking the heat for this clown.
We took a deep shot on a FREE PLAY, off sides defense, but DAK overthrew it by a large margin!
Yeah ok. If not for Dak, this franchise would be nowhere. Stop the hate towards the quarterback & emphasize on Zuerlein.

Dak is NOT a bad QB, he's just not elite (top 3-5). Can he win a Superbowl? Sure. But I don't think it's fair to expect him to just be able to drop back and pass the cowboys to a Superbowl. If he can be solid, and everyone else does there Job the Cowboys can win it all. I'm not down on Dak, I just understand what he is (above average) and what he's not (elite)

This has been obvious for quite some time he’s really good pre snap but terrible post snap. so in games where our running game is not a factor he looks like crap.
He doesn’t look as mobile as he used to be either, he seems to lack the ability he used to have of extending plays.

3 year left on that deal…

I'm listening now on the radio, Broaddus is questioning Dak's ability to "process" quickly enough against disguised looks. Said he's playing slow because of these new looks defenses are giving him. Says he's only letting it rip when there's a "free play" on an offside. Otherwise, he's playing slow.

This is the dirty secret of our offense for the last 2 months. Dak's brain is letting him (and the team) down. He is playing slow because he's processing slow. Read Amari's quote below, "play fast". Read between the lines...he's talking about Dak.

I've been saying that for 5 years.....

And he misses a ton of guys deep...that are wide open....all the time....because he can't see the field.

So Dak is NOT a winning QB's bring their teams back...
He's not Elite, he's just slightly above average. He can win a Superbowl but the defense has to keep the game within one score. He can comeback being down 7. If it's 10 or more he's gonna struggle.

But isn't it th coaches responsibility to put the QB in the best position to win? Maybe our coaches have slow twitch brain muscles also.

Didn't he get pushed out because he criticized players and ownership? I'm no fan but he lost his job because he had some integrity, not because he sucks. And he does suck.
So Broaddus doesn't suck...but he does suck?

I'm confused.

Broaddus has a ton of experience with a lack of processing power. He must be onto something.

They did though.

Dak requested that Moore stay on when McCarthy was hired. They obliged.

Dak requested that they keep the same offense and not switch to McCarthy's west coast scheme. They obliged.

This is 6 years of Dak-Moore continuity on offense. That is unheard of him in the modern NFL. Yet, Amari is talking about dumbing down the plays. What does that tell you?

Dak is a single read QB which is why his ability to run is/was crucial to his success and why he needs elite receivers to be successful. I think the Cowboys can win it all with Dak, but it’s going to take an elite defense and an OC who knows how to play to the QBs strengths.

Than Moore may be a dumb dum too...somethings wrong, this combo was blazing the first 7 weeks of the season....defenses may have figured them out but you would think they would have countered with their own adjustments....we look like we're still in preseason form.

Lol I’ve known this the entire time. *** took you guys this long?

I think several are aware of Dak's limitations. Why do you think there were many on here that were opposed to Dak getting $40 M per year?
He is a decent quarterback if he has a great Offensive Line and running backs and great wide receivers. His reads are slow, that is why
the Denver defense philosophy is successful against Dallas when they play better teams.

That’s why he’s not accurate.. He is accurate on his first or second read, but when he needs to anticipate, he is awful and all over the place. What obfuscates perception statistically is, he takes the check-down way too much, not being able to go through his reads at a proper pace. So his completion percentage doesn’t suffer and he looks better on paper than he actually is…
Dak is a 2nd Gear Quarterback.

He can keep a team afloat but i doubt he has that third gear that’ll allow him to sometimes score a TD when the team has a fainting pulse, going back and forth with another QB, etc

Budda Baker mentioned something about it after the game. He said on the Chandler sack they disguised their defense to confuse Dak and it worked.

He’s not trusting his instincts. His confidence is shot and he’s in his own head. He changes the play at the LOS a lot and I’m sure defensive coordinators realize that and use it to their advantage. Its like they’re disguising coverage to get him to audible to what they’re really preparing to defend. Dictating our offense perhaps.

I think the 3rd & 2 run showed his indecisiveness. If he would’ve just tucked the ball and ran, he would’ve gotten the first down… Instead he didn’t know whether he wanted to throw or run and only got us a yard. Luckily we converted on 4th & 1, but it could’ve been costly
