Twitter: Broaddus: Josh Ball only had two bad plays

He had 2 bad plays in limited duty

offensive line aint like other positions you cant afford for one person to mess up twice. all oline penalties KILL a drive and missed assignments and poor blocking will either kill your drive or your qb

Yeah but his two bad plays should’ve cost us the game.

If that’s not Houston or Pierce isn’t hurt, we are 9-4 today

Can't look at it that way.
If not for Turpin's fumble, what would have happened from there. Could have been another nice drive for a TD.
Then we are playing with a lead, and not from behind. A lot different at 14-0 from 7-7 giving them momentum.
That type of thing can change a game and how the plays are called from there.

Which is exactly what I meant when I said that missed fumble on Schultz changed the complexion of that entire game with the Colts. You get it!

Ball has obvious problems with the speed rush. Two bad plays with the same defender speed rushing. Thank goodness that DE decision to incorporate other pass rush moves. If he would have kept speed racing for the rest of the game he could have had four sacks.

Malik Collins was killing Biadasz. I was like, damn how come we didn't keep him? But then I remembered Biadasz sucks moving lateral.

..as he might say. But when its 3rd and 14 and down 10 points with 5:15 left in game. You get someone else in there, Pronto.
