I want Quinn and personally would probably promote edwards or Whitt but if they end up with zimmer- it’s really not a terrible hire and could absolutely be much worse. I particularly like the idea of zimmer and edwards together if we can manage it.

Falcons results not as good but you can’t hold that against him, their head coach was a pushover and abandoned his team and left the pro game after one quarter.

I still think Zimmer is a much better coach than people here are giving him credit, but you can’t sign him because of the Jerry Jones history dynamic unless it’s MM’s choice. Although Zimmer always struck me as more of Parcell’s boy than Jerry’s boy, just like Payton.

We’re jumping the gun, let’s see if Quinn even gets hired. He did get a fair shot to prove himself in Atlanta.

yep. Just like D. Quinn did in atl. Maybe that’s what they’re looking for.

zimmer relies on blitzes and strong DEs to generate pass rush. when he doesn't have that, his defenses struggle.

plus we have edwards, who worked for him and was let go to put Zimmer's son in his place. that's not going to be a good dynamic, which would mean we probably would lose edwards too

Got to stop flipping between defensive schemes. Parsons is a perfect fit for a hybrid scheme. Play LB on run downs, edge rusher on pass downs. We drafted a 3-4 type DE in Osa, and a 3-4 type NT in Bohanna. None of them is a fit for an old-fashioned 4-3.
