Bryan broaddus on the postgame show made an excellent point. He said if you can blame the head coach for every loss but after every win it’s because of the players then you clearly are speaking from blind hatred of the head coach. By no means am I a fan of Garrett but some of y’all are looking like clowns with your takes on him
I'm a blind hater. But in all seriousness, he is a good coach.

yeah that’s fine Garret gets the credit. But it still doesn’t change the 3-4 embarrassing losses this year.

You could argue this game shouldn’t have even mattered if we took care of business earlier in the year

This win today is a normal win for the patriots or any other winning team. Yet we celebrate it like we just won the SB. Sad state of a franchise from the owner down.

this means nothing if we don’t win next week against a depleted eagles team

Coaches are judged by their record and post season success. No one said Garrett’s teams are incapable of playing well. The argument has been about consistency—they haven’t played well consistently enough to have post season success.

Today was a great win. Garrett should be lauded. But can they maintain it?

Bingo on the sustain. Eagles will run those screens and use TE against us. Stop those play run D like today and that will show me some improvement

It’s one good win. Even if you give Garrett credit for today’s win, the rest of this miserable season overshadows it x1000000. Compound that x10 years, yeah... today doesn’t change my mind on Garrett whatsoever

Never said it should change your mind on him. I just said be fair on criticism as well as praise

Still needs a deep playoff run and a Superbowl win or today's win will mean nothing as far as any belief that Garrett should be extended or get to be the Cowboys coach for another season.

If this game against the Rams turns out to be a turning point to propel the Cowboys to a Superbowl appearance or at least an NFC Championship game appearance then I'll give Garrett credit then.

my thoughts arethis was a great win but can he have the team ready to play next week in philly and the next week and the next week if they make the playoffs his teams have always been so inconsistent espically in the playoffs he has two playoff wins in nine years

I like that Garrett won today, heck im sure many did. but again, this happens every few wins we get. Garrett won, you must now praise him, when garrett loses, hey, its on the team as well.

its a double standard. The team had a great win today a very good win, and i wont take that away, but the season will still tell the tale and as i said, assuming on new HCs is dumb. i think Jerry should be talking, but lets all wait til the end of the season to see how it plays out. I dont even have faith Stephen wants to see the end of Garrett.

Does Garrett deserve it, he has to make the playoffs and win two games since at best we ll be a wild card.

Very good win today very good.

Here's the problem.

Great, he and the staff did a nice job today.

But one game doesn't suddenly change his overall track record. This staff has done a poor job this year. Beating the Rams today suddenly doesn't change that storyline.

Garrett coached a good game today. He should not be fired at the moment.

But I still want him gone after the season. It'll take a minimum of 2 playoff wins to change that.
