Broaddus makes interesting comment on Mazi Smith

Oddly enough I have had many different people talk about how that was also a part of a system thing on the D line in Michigan where they pretty much teach the D line to pause a second before attacking and I can only think it would be for them to be able to help with diagnosing a play because it seems so odd.

When discussing Kris Jenkins, Voch and Broaddus talked about this for a long time. Jenkins seems to have that same issue. They are taught a read and react style that seems to have them waiting on the OL's movement.

I don't know that we will ever get the truth but whoever told Mazi to lose all that weight mid-season deserves to be fired.

But notice how Quinn is loading up on LBs with the Commanders. What was he doing in Dallas leaving the Cowboys thin at LB? I don't want to speculate, but something was just off with Quinn and our defense last season.
