The dysfunction is created by the owner and it’s his responsibility to fix it. You don’t demand that the HC not involve himself in the offense and then demand that he dictate to the offense to stick to the running game

MM for all his faults isnt someone who'd just throw Kellen under the bus....even if he did take over play calling he wouldnt publicizing it.

MM is old school and never sounds convincing when trying to be deceptively diplomatic.

MM hasn't even bothered to learn the offense's terminology.

There is no way in hell that he takes over play calling VOLUNTARILY.

Agree, but isnt it all about the dynamic and responsibility?? If the Jones' have regular access to Moore and he, in turn, answers (or fears) Jerry then MM may feel that he cant/doesnt want to be involved.

Just look at the Randy fiasco and the level of Jerry involvement on someone he personally liked. The Jones have absolute control. They want yes men/ puppets that do what they are told.....and as with all nepotism, Kellen is there by the grace of Jerry and appears near untouchable as he's a yes man, as soon as MM fails to toe the line (or Jones needs a sacrificial lamb) he will be sacked.

To me it sounds like MM is disassociating himself with the mess that he probably doesnt see as his fault or his making. If the rumor is true that he was told on taking the job that Moore runs the Offense what does he do?

We can call for the sacking of MM, however, unless the dynamic above the HC changes we'll get another 'Yes Man'...... .even then Jones he's a loose canon and wont be trusted not to divulge everything to the media.

My question is what does Mike do then? It seems odd to me that he is not even close to prepared enough to run the offense even though he is an offensively minded head coach.

He clearly isn't practicing clock management skills or getting this team properly prepared to do anything.

In my opinion a head coach needs to bring something to the table and not just be a manager type. Managers don't actually get anything done.

They should implement McCarthy's offense.

He knows an offense. I have his playbook. So, they should run some of Green Bay's old plays and mix it up.
