Broaddus: Not sounding positive on Tapper

True. But it seems the team has said very little about Tappers'a injury. Not a good sign.

Garrett is notoriously cagey about injuries. Rowan Kavner used to get upset about it and take issue with being misled. I always thought that was funny when coaches around the league regularly make a mockery of the injury report. Belichick for example likes to put on guys that are not injured. Tom Brady made the list every week one year despite not missing one practice.

At the very least you hate seeing a rookie miss weeks worth of practice without a set diagnosis. Sore back is a complaint, not a diagnosis. I am sure he could really use all the practice he can get.

Let's beat that horse.

Freeney sure would look good right now on this roster.

This does suck because I was high on the kid and he was one of my pet cats heading into the draft. But it does seem off that he's yet to really practice and the Cowboys are really quiet on his injury front.

We're in really bad shape at end..Lawrence suspended, that knucklehead Randy Gregory may never play again, now this? And what is the word on Mayowa what in the world has he been up to? Maybe closing the door on Hardy wasnt the wisest thing to do. Not like anyone can tell his team anything after Goodell let that thug kicker on the Giants off with a slap on the wrist.

Before camp broke, reporters were saying Mayowa was looking good. Definitely has some speed to his game.
