Williams needs to be catching at least 1000 passes off the jugs machine to hone his ability to catch balls more consistently away from his body. If he does that he could become a very good #2 or even become a #1 because he does have a little speed.

Agree he should perfect that part of his game, but also remember his " great sideline grab in the Seattle game". All hands

I just don't get all this hate for T-Will.

The guy is a damn good #2 WR.

I don't know why so many people think we need 2 top 10 WR's to have a great offense.

I don't get either especially when he is only option #4 in this offense.

That is why I said more consistently. If he can catch away from his body it will make a DB's job defending him much more difficult, right now they just stay close so the ball takes a little longer to get into his body they can react better. I am not asking him to make Dez type catches but he needs to improve his "catching radius" which right now is pretty small.

Is he saying he'll get a chance at the #2 job? That surprises me. I do think he's a candidate to move up if Harris moves on, which seems likely.

EDIT: I like him, too. Disappointed that he didn't show more in games this year. He's the type of guy who is going to have to just get open, because his speed isn't going to get him by anybody. But he runs routes well, and you can tell by just watching him move that he might be able to sneak open now and then if he can earn the reps.

The problem with Street showing up in games is would he ever be better then the 4th choice when he's on the field? Dez, TWill, Beasley, Witten, and Murray/other RB would likely get a ball before him. I think its also possible that Harris would as well.

Have watched him on several occasions, and he still looks fast for a TE.... He doesn't get the ball much so it's hard to be conclusive on that.

I agree. He gets more snaps than Escobar but it appears he is a better blocker. Not sure why he doesn't get more balls his way. Witten might be the best answer to that.

I saw Street on the field a bit, but almost never saw the ball thrown his way. Probably wanted for him to get used to the blocking aspects of receiving before giving him more of a chance.

7 targets this year. Makes perfect sense he seems like he made no impact. But at the same time with the other players on our team this year it makes sense the Street didn't get many targets. Would be nice to see targets per snap for him honestly, but I'm way too lazy to figure that one out.
