Broaddus on Devin Street

Twill has decent speed. I saw him slowing down when he felt he had enough distance on the DBs to make it into the end zone. Probably not the best idea but he did get in. He's more of a hands receiver though with a knack for getting YAC. If we do target a WR in the mid to later rounds I hope he's a burner with good hands. it would definitely take some of the double teams off of Dez if he can prove he's a threat down field.

I just saw NOTHING in the kid but i'm glad they are still optimistic with him. He just seemed incredibly lost in a year where A LOT of rookie receivers looked anything but. But he is a rookie. Some develop slower than others and he was so far down on the depth chart that it was impossible for him to get any consistent going. The potential that this receiving core could get better is exciting.

Any up and coming reporters to push and take over for Broaddus.....LOL

Williams is fine at #2, Street will push for #3. But Beasley retains his role too.
I don't see Harris returning, unless he doesn't get any decent offers as a FA. he's a great ST's player on coverage, but to me was subar on returns. This is where we need speed at. I know it's not all about speed in returning kicks, but sure does help.

Speed? Why we got Escobar and Beasley..Use them correctly & Twill is fine at #2

We need a #2 who is much faster.

I don't think we do. Terrance Williams is a great 2nd receiver, IMO. He's the least of our problems. We could use a burner for our 4 and 5 WR sets, I'm fine with that. Hopefully they can catch.

Street better learn how to play special teams.

T-Will cemented his spot as the #2 WR in the playoffs.

Street was mostly a blocker this season.

Geesh, he's a rookie. 5th round pick. Unbelievable.

Liked him in the draft, he will be a far better player and show up more as he gains Romo's trust.

As a Terps fan, I would love to see the Cowboys take a shot at Stephon Diggs (since he has now declared) -- Maybe not as a WR, but he would make an excellent punt/kick returner. And who knows, he may develop into a quality WR (in time) -- Projected from 2nd round to 4th -- But I'd imagine that all depends on his combine numbers -- The guy is as quick as greased lightning.

I would assume that the team is basing their feelings on Street on what they have seen on the practice field as opposed to judging him from a fans perspective as the #5 weapon on a run-heavy offense.

I think Broaddus is talking out of his backside. Street looks like another Sam Hurd, but with even less production.

We need a #2 who is much faster.
Did you happen to notice TWill's last two TDs in the playoffs? You don't take those balls to the house without speed...

Street could win the #3 next year, but he still isn't going to get many balls thrown his way. This offense, as far as the receiving corps goes, is more about roles than a depth chart. Dez is still going to be the alpha, Williams is the deep guy, Beas runs the slot, Esco works the deep middle, and Witten is Witten. Street could look like Randy Moss in camp and would still have trouble getting any touches.

Worrying about our 5th or 6th option catching balls is what I call "one of those good problems"

I would like to have a true burner that can scare a defense or take some returns for TDs, but it way down the list of needs
