And that is different from anyone else, how?

If only he could recognize the greatness of Parnell, you might like him better.
I wish you would go back with your people at the Eagles message boards.

This does appear to be a valid observation that you've made here. He'll more than likely see a fair amount of criticism for it in this instance. I'd think he'd do well to take criticisms of his own personal inclinations to heart after this when he feels compelled to go public with such cold evaluations. Nevertheless, I'll have to admit, I appreciate most of what he does. We all have our own idiosyncrasies, I guess . . . nobody's perfect.
On the radio, he sounds like a genius because the comparison is Babe Laufenberg. I guess everything is relative.

To me, the Babe is pretty much of a knee-jerk type of guy when it comes to evaluation. I like many of Broaddus' ideas about evaluating talent, though, albeit not all of them. I agreed with what he said about Traylor lately. With Hanna on the fritz, he's the only TE, other than Witten, to reliably keep Romo and Elliott out of harm's way.

There's no telling how long Hanna might be kept out of the lineup with his Achilles causing problems and Traylor could prove valuable in the meantime. He can haul in the occasional pass now and then also, although Swaim is better in that area.

I didn't agree with his assessment of Maliek Collins lately at all, though. It remains to be seen what Collins can do, given more time to recover from his injury. He's bound to be rusty after that layoff. Broaddus was obviously premature on that one, imho.

Tapper, collins, mayowa, russell, mcadoo, irving - thats what we got. Id trade them all, thats right all 6 of them plus a 1st rd pick for Khalil Mack, but the raiders would just laugh.

To whom my friend?... Which NFL team would trade with you? Maybe Taco Bell or McDonalds...

Babe barely talks about the actual game at hand. He loves to tell stories and talk about himself.

Like him or not, nothing Broaddus said about Collins was actually wrong. He is coming off an injury, yes, but Cowboys must have higher expectations if they started him. Otherwise they should have eased him in and played him with 2nd unit.

It is what it is, Collins is not even a top 5 DT on the team, as of now.

He needs snaps. Game experience. Only one way to get them. Got nothing to do with expectations. Just get some game experience. Don't worry about anything else. Missed too much time in training camp so get on the field and get some experience and learn the NFL game.

That's fine, in preseason. Development must take back seat when games count. Best players play, regardless of draft position or pedigree.

Collins needs to earn his spot in rotation.
