Apparently they game planned for him.. Payton is a smart cookie.. I always hoped we would get him back one day.

That was great work on his behalf, I wanted him to be the coach but really don’t know if he wanted to knowing how Jed was. He probably knew after Tuna, Jed was not going to ever again while he was living ever give the coach the keys to his yacht again like Jimmy and Tuna had. Yes know he got the saints job a year before the tuna left, but he knew how this franchise was ran and it wasn’t like all the others.

A lot of our players have awful games when we play teams of Denvers caliber.

Play everybody we have and earn their money.....there isn't any help coming

Many seem to treat drafting like it’s automatic, hoarding picks. The packers are currently the 2nd worst pick in the first round, you have to think its closer to that than say 15 by year’s end. Not good

Nate Thomas is clearly better yet he doesn't play.

Steele gets paid more than Thomas. Jerry demands that guys with big contracts play and low paid guys sit. Period. Jerry needs to be right about those big contracts. Even when the player really stinks, Jerry wants a ROI. That's why he never fires a coach mid-season. Performance is secondary to making Jerry look like a football guy.

IMO, Bass has been the best OL on the team. I don't understand why they leave Jag Hoffman out there at Center vs. Bass.

Fans haven't wanted to admit it, but Smith has been off all season. Not sure what's going on there.
