My take is that would mean drafting a QB high. They dont want use 3 million a year on a backup like McCoy. Also they took note of what Bradford got and what Osweiller is about to get.

K. Moore as the b/u QB, not going to be active in FA, and a defense that was last in forcing TOs and 25th in sacks thats going to in all likelihood be the same or worse. By all means, lets worry about the future later as long as it gets us an impact player at 4... Smart thinking Jerry.

This actually doesn't surprise me. At least Moore has more upside than Colt, and the only other QB out there that I would want is Fitzpatrick and that isn't happening.

I do hope the plan is to get a QB in round 1 however!

It is a better option Colt McCoy or Chase Daniel. Moore doesnt have a great arm but he does have intangibles like pocket presence etc.
