From what I've heard, Jalen Ramsey is a rare, special talent. And Marcus Peters last year proved rookie corners can be interception machines; and guys like Darrelle Revis and Patrick Peterson were difference makers right away too.
The Cowboys got it all wrong in 2012 with Mo Claiborne; but they shouldn't let that scare them if Ramsey is somehow still there at #4.
Quarterbacks get paid. Even crappy ones. See Ryan Tannehill, Sam Bradford, and Nick Foles.
Drafting a QB is not about winning now. It's about having a QB when romo is gone. No single pick is going to put this team over the top and make them SB contenders so why not fix the QB spot while you have a chance
I'm fine with it. A better backup QB isn't going to make a difference if we don't significantly upgrade the defense. That's where the $ and draft picks need to go

last year the back up qb was the problem, the defense held up in most games until the end.
Broaddus: Starting to look like coaches plan on Kellen Moore as #2 QB
It should concern anyone with a functional brain.

No it didn't.
The defense set a record for fewest turnovers in history.
That isn't "holding-up". That's never giving your offense a chance at easy points.
The problem is the # 4 pick gets a high minimum contract. So for a player who may not play if Romo holds up, your paying him a lot of $
to sit on bench.
If Tony goes down it is worth it, if he is good, but if tony doesnt miss many games, then it isnt.
Trading down might not be a bad idea.
Kellen with more work and attention. is a ok bkup. He now has game experience and the coaches can look at his film.
I think cowboys want a impact player for 2016 if they use the #4 pick.
This will get the natives restless.
