He has mentioned that Moore can "win games" recently.
He said the same thing about Cassel and Weeden. lol

If Showers stays on this team, it won't be as a QB.....
He had none in 2006, when he threw 3 int's in 1 half vs the Giants.
Im not against drafting a QB. I am however against drafting a QB just to draft him. Stick to the board and pick best available. If Wentz is the best draft him, if Ramsey is the best draft him, if you get a great offer to trade down and want Elliott then do it.
This team can use any position. I want to build an elite defense. I'm not the owner and I don't make the decisions. They feel Romo can play 4-5 more years, don't matter what I think. I don't see them using the number 4 pick on a QB when the value (in my opinion) isn't there.
Personally I rather trade back and pick up some extra picks and take Rankins, Billings etc. Then make a small trade up back into the first round and draft Lynch. I feel development wise lynch will be the best of all the QBs. That still gives you a 2nd pick for a RB, DB, WR, LB
I like Kellen Moore at the 2 especially if we are intending on taking a QB in the draft.
Moore will have to earn it if we do draft a qb. Both of them will be given shots as Romo's backup in training camp and preseason.
Keep our drafted qb from the front line as long as possible. With the exception of Geoff there isn't a one of them close to NFL ready. Moore has the offensive philosophy down, he reacts he doesn't think he would easily beat out a rookie at least for the first part of the season IMO
Pretty sure Geoff or Wentz can survive playing behind the best OL in football.
To borrow from Chris Rock "You can drive a car with your feet, that don't make it a good idea."
You are talking surviving behind our line I am talking of keeping them out until they can thrive behind the best o-line. Giving our QB time to mentally adjust to the speed of the game is a luxury that we have and should take full advantage of. Majority of highly-rated QBs that fail, fail not because of lack of physical ability but the inability to make the mental jump to next level. And the majority of time it is a direct result of desperation on their team's part throwing them in too soon. I for one am against playing rookie QBs too early with the exception of a team in full rebuild mode and the entire team lacks experience.
I happen to think there are QBs worth taking at 4 and don't see any "sure things" on the defensive side of the ball that we could pick at 4.
We'll have our answer soon enough.
You said it. We will eventually find out.
Everybody sees different things and to be honest none are a sure thing in the draft, every player is a gamble.
The question is in any other draft do you still feel Wentz and Goff are top 5 picks? Like last year, would they go ahead of Winston and Mariota

The #2 qb will be kept out, unless Romo rebreaks another bone. Kellen Moore isn't winning us games if he has to start or come in relief. And his so called mental part of the game isn't Montana like that Geoff or Wentz can't adjust to things behind the OL.
