The front office has managed to completely telegraph its future with Cooper. Unless there are multiple teams who are hot for his services, i'm not sure we'll see a trade. If we're lucky, maybe you can get a team to fork over a 2nd rounder.

They always telegraph their intentions.

It's gotta be some ridiculous way of validating what they do.

Cooper should bring back a 3rd, but it will be a straight cut in the end.

I am not in a hurry to get into the top 10 of this draft anyway. There are 1 or 2 studs up top that interest me, but overall, I don't think the dropoff between say #10 in this class and #24 is really that great.

I'd rate it as

Then maybe Stingley? He has blue chip talent but hasn't played the best recently....

After that, I think the other 1st round guys are closer than they are farther away.
