Broaddus tweet on Arkin

I just sent this tweet to Broaddus:

@BryanBroaddus can u give us an idea as to why coach is not looking at arkin as a solution as a starter

his reply:

@JakeCamp12 I can't say that they aren't but he hasn't proven it the last few years. He will start on Sunday so we will see.

He doesn't seem to want to give any detail to the "go in another direction" comment.

On talkin cowboys he's said that he thinks Bernadeau will be the starter.

But on Arkin, it really seems Broaddus can't let go of Arkin in previous seasons rather than judge the talent on the field currently. It's strange that a scout wouldn't be on board that a player like this can develop.

That's because he doesn't want to stick his foot in his mouth just yet.

Of course it is. He's already written him off. To come back to reality and give the guy credit, would seemingly diminish his abilities as a scout. Broaddus is a nice guy, but he has a huge ego.

I have seen Broaddus give credit to players that have improved even though he had low opinions on them. I think he is fair, but he is not afraid to give his evaluation on a player that is not doing well. Fans don't like that type of honesty at this time of the year.

Link to where Broaddus says that Arkin "is not doing well?"

At this point I don't care about the last few years. Good grief why can't he just answer the question?
