My favorite of that show. "Ooh, clutch the pearls! He's still in the closet!"

I love Tyler Smith, but look at the last few games. If Peters can plat RT, put Tyron back at LT, Tyler to LG and go.
The best 5. If something doesn't work, shuffle.

I like that plan the best— but that’s a huge IF when it comes to Peters. I think they will figure it out— they at least have some options.

Why do people want to leave the left alone like it’s been great? Tyler has been awful at time and might be better suited to the right. He looked lost for long stretches against Houston. Meanwhile, Tyron has been the best OT in football for large stretches on the left. If Tyron is good to go, he should be right back in his natural spot.

My ‘best five’ lineup would be Tyron - Tyler - Biadasz - Martin - Peters.

And if Ball is such a liability? Dump him and get a better option.

^ This. If Peter's can handle the volume of snaps that it would take to play the whole game, this seems like the best combination..

I'd rather see him play guard than switch tackles at his age. hes been playing left tackle for years, all his joints, muscles, everything else are used to working the left side.

I was taking bets on this right after Jerral said he might play vs. Jags.

Tyron isnt a guard though.

Swing tackle is natural for him

Best rookie tackle in the draft...without question, imo.

If true, this tells us that it’s McGovern over Peters in that best five thing.

Dont want to move Tyler to the right side.

One configuration that could work that I haven’t seen mentioned….

Tyron…Tyler…Biadasz…McG…Martin.

BUT…..you’re changing four OL positions at 10-3. Maybe not a great idea.

I’m not opposed to moving Tyler…but it can’t be to RT. He’s a rookie that already often struggles with technique, asking him to learn another new position now would be borderline crazy. Moving to the other side of the line isn’t easy for anyone, let alone a raw rookie that’s never played the position at any level. Best case scenario he moves to LG, 2nd best he stays at LT…no 3rd option.

I also don’t discount that wanting a swing tackle available without shifting most of the line around plays a factor here. They may just want to keep Peters fresh on the bench for injury replacement to any position but C. In that case I’d have Tyron practicing at RT to be ready to start the Eagles game.

Nah.

They'll flex the line around I suspect.

Tyron, Tyler, Biadasz, Martin, Peters

Or

Tyler, Peters, Biadasz, Martin, Tyron.

If Peters plays full time it would highly likely be at RT.

Tyler has been fantastic at tackle, let Tyron try the move to RT. Always have Peters and Ball as well.
