I like that plan the best— but that’s a huge IF when it comes to Peters. I think they will figure it out— they at least have some options.
If Peters does well at RT, we're golden.

Might be an opportunity to "try it out" vs the Jags. Maybe they're bad enough to give guys snaps.

Duke knows they've practiced him there but no final decision had been made.
This is really just another sign they plan to roll with Tyler at LT for the next decade.

I'd probably go: Tyron, Tyler, TB, Martin, Peters/Ball
But I get them wanting to allow Tyler to just stick and continue to develop.

Better not to plan on Peters playing extensive snaps.

He has not played a full game all season...Not even a full half.

Peters is a bandaid that can not play a full game.
Tyron is an injury waiting to happen.
Steele is probably the future when healthy.

so using your logic, after the offseason no one should play extensive minutes? Peters has been with the team long enough to get into playing shape.

That's a strawman...Your re-characterization of my post.

Peters is a Super Sub that is 40 years old. It is very rate for a 330+ player to play in the NFL at his age.

They need him available as the super sub for the playoffs.

Tyron has probably not been "out of shape" a day in his life. He has injury issues but he won't have any issue with conditioning that Peters had earlier this season.

Neither the coaches or Martin want to move him to OT. Same reason LA played OG despite being All Pro in his one season at LT. Even more with Martin this season because the OC is young and has limited talent. They like having Martin next to him.
I agree with your reasoning.
But sometimes players sacrifice for the good of the team.
I am not even sure if it's a good idea?
Who plays right guard if Martin kicks out to tackle?
Peters?

In the Martin at RT scenario:
Tyron
Tyler
Biadasz
McGovern
Martin

Peters where needed...
