Broadus is saying they'll go DL at #9...

What's the deal with Deunta Williams? Does anyone know where he's projected to go?

Broke his leg in the bowl game, so he'll probably fall. I'd say he could be had late 2nd or 3rd round.

He was probably a 2nd rounder, now a 3rd rounderish.

Besides Peterson hes the only safety I think is better than AOA

I'd take Rahim Moore over Williams.

I agree... And I get the feeling Dallas wants to bring back Spears.

It was reported that Spears locker was the only one cleaned out after the season was over.

Be VERY careful wishing for Carimi gents: I really think anything below 20 is too high for him. He's a typical Wisconsin mammoth, slow, space eater. Not athletic in space whatsoever. HE's a mauler and a product of the system. (I saw 5 Wisconsin game this year including their Big Ten loss vs. MSU in East Lansing. The Spartans quick LB's gave the Badgers fits. The same LB's that Alabama's athletic line demolished)

Sounds like a young Colombo...

Realistically a trade down could very well be the way to go. Unfortunately it takes two to tango.
If the value is not there when we are on the clock, I can definitely see a trade down. At #9, I don't think it'll be too tough to find someone interested.

I don't know man.. he looks more athletic than he gets credit for alot of times that i've watched him. I think if we traded back he'd be a nice pick. If we get a "young Colombo" type guy (although i think he has more talent) that we can plug in at RT for years to come and not have to worry i'd take him in a second.

I think a team needing a QB (e.g the Vikings at 12) would be a good possible trade down partner.

The guy just ISN'T athletic enough IMO. NO way, no how. I trust Garrett on this: he should be able to see that.

Have you watched him play? I think he's plenty athletic enough.

Even that link you posted says he could be "dominant" at RT. Im all for trading down and getting a guy like that.

Be even sweeter if Garrett makes a move to try and add Chryst to the staff AGAIN.

Only Spears clones at the top of the draft. No great OLb'S OR NT's for the d-line in the top 10. No great O-linemen in the top 10. No great Safeties (if Peterson's gone) in the top 2 rounds.

Problem is we need piles of players and they're just not there.

sucks to be us.

One good thing though. Wade's gone. Maybe our D can revert to what they were before he arrived. The Last best hope of 2011?

You should save this post and see how accurate it is in a year or three. You could be right.

There is Robert Quinn. And Miller could sneak into the top 12.

Nobody like Suh in the draft this year. Guy is a beasttt.

I seriously doubt it, but if Fairley isn't a flash in the pan he could be that guy.

I don't think Fairley has near the raw power that Suh has though.

Suh is just a beast, but still has speed and quickness too. He's a really special talent.

Fairley is good, but just can't measure up to Suh.

Well, he has a 50% chance of being right. Hard to believe that he knows definitively what we're going to do four months ahead of time.
