Jerry isn't going to fire Wade. But, if JG goes to Detroit or somewhere, do you guys think Mike would be a good choice for OC? As others have said in this thread, Mike is a master at getting great production from whatever runningbacks he has. Do you think Mike would be willing to serve under Wade for a season or two or will he only accept another HC job?

How do you go from HC with personnel authority to being an OC???

I dont see it, looks like a significant demotion to me.

With that being said, I would fire Wade tonight and hire Shanahan in a heartbeat.

I will say this. The chances of Shannahan being hired and Wade being demoted to DC (which I don't think will happen, as much as I would like it) are greater than Wade being HC and Shannahan a coordinator for him.

Shanahan is not going to be a coordinator. He has his pick of plenty of HC openings this year.
