THAT is not the OCs responsibility. That is the HCs responsibility to hold the players accountable.

The OCs job is to design an offense and implement it.

It didn't take him to the 16th game to realize how bad Proctor was.

He knew what he had. That's why they went to get Holland. But then he ended up hurt. Proctor knew the system at least. The only other option was McQuistan. And since he was 4th on the depth chart, you think maybe he sucked a bit more than Proctor?

Again, say what you want about the play calling but when you cannot get the offense installed, you can run the plays.

Again, it's on Wade to see that is done and he didn't.

Dude you're dead on point. I don't care what plays are being called, if your team isn't disciplined or focused they aren't going to work and that all falls back on the HC not the coordinators...

Everything your talking about all goes back to WP not JG. JG can't overrule the things that WP allows the players to do. Its JG job to teach the O and its WP job to instill discipline and accountability...

And RJ did such a great job installing the O, players constantly ran the wrong routes and Romo was having to constantly fix other players alignment before the snap, but please find some way to blame this on Phillips.

This team and particularly the O had great success last year cause it was still operating on the discipline ways that BP instilled in them. As time has gone on, WP soft layed back style has filtered throughout this team and this is what we have now.. Its just that simple...

Why can't you see that these things all stem back to discipline, focus, and accountibility that comes from the HC not the coordinators. You're right, JG installs the O and its the HC job to see that things are run right.

Or Sparano was the real brains behind the operation.

I want Garrett to stay. He can and will still grow. Don't give up so easily on him.

that's where I'm at.

yes, we had some crap performances but we had BJ in for 3 games and the eggs we laid in december came against some of the best Ds in the league.

jerry supporting TO and RW's complaints and talking about how we need to get them the ball completely destroyed Garrett's authority.

he isn't exactly dealing with a great situation here. yes, he lacked creativity and adaptability but there is considerable blame to be placed elsewhere.

Roll your eyes, bury your head in the sand. Nothing, oh nothing is sweet Gingers fault.

So let's say you have a child and you are teaching them math.

You're teaching them multiplication.

Johnnie can't figure out 2 X 2 = 4.

So you sit down with Johnnie but he is playing with his truck and not paying attention to you. DO you keep on explaining or do you discipline him and take the truck away?

Oh and by the way, it isn't YOUR call to make on taking the truck away, it's your wife's. But your wife doesn't want to make Johnnie mad so she allows him to play with the truck during the time you are teaching him.

Now Johnnie goes to school and he flunks his math test because he didn't know 2 x 2 = 4.

Now who's fault is it that Johnnie didn't know the answer?

Is it Johnnies because he was irresponsible and didn't listen?

Is it Your wife's fault who had the authority to stop it and didn't?

Or was it your fault because he didn't pay attention to you?

Last I checked, JC wasn't part of the pro scouting department with the team. I imagine coaches pull for their guys all the time. They also don't spend a ton of time watching film like pro scouts do. That one is on Jerry. If he lets his OC make decisions like that then he's an idiot.

That all happened cause of the discipline, focus, and demand on the players that TS and BP get from their players. Those are the things we don't get from WP.. It still goes back to the HC. Sorry you can't understand that...

 Garrett's name comes up. The Broncos have to pay Shanahan the rest of his 20 Million and are not looking for an expensive coach according to Schefter.

Garrett would be a good fit there.

Broncos... Lions.. I don't care where he ends up. Just get him outta here since it's obvious Jerry's hand needs to be forced with respect to poppin fresh Wade.

How does Garret leaving change Wade's situation?

I think Jerry was waiting one more year to promote Red. If Red is gone there's no need to wait one more year! Just a thought... actually more like a dream.

Jerry is trying to be far too cute.

If he thinks JC is the answer then make him the headcoach and get him a big time QB coach/OC and a solid DC.

I doubt that would happen. I think the only way Jerry fires Wade at this point is if something very odd were to happen. Something along the lines of Jimmy saying he would like to come back. Other than that, Wade is here for next year. Even though my sig and heart say different, my head tells me it ain't happening.
