Brown's QB looked tentative, indecisive and inaccurate in offseason practices Tuesday

If this was supposed to insult romo its kind of dumb since he was voted into the game, and was not an alternate that made it because of injury
I thought it was a jab at Young.

The Brown's season has 3-13 written all over it.

Either he was talking about the Qb's that got hurt through the year

or it was a jab at young

either way he fails like quinn will

Quinn will be a legit pro bowler in 3 years, not an alternate due to injury

so which of these 3 other AFC QB's is he gonna beat out... Manning, Brady, Palmer...than there are up and comers like Rivers, Rothensberger<sp>, Young, Huard, Cutler

You also have former probowlers like, Green, Culpepper...

I just don't see it

Quinn will be the same girly QB in three years that he is now. The only difference, everyone will know, and he'll be on the bench

I'll take that bet right now.

One could argue that he did make it in because of an injury - to McNabb. The Eagles' QB was having a phenomenal season stat-wise before the injury. If he'd stayed healthy there's no way that Romo is picked to the Pro Bowl in front of McNabb.

Thats what I was thinking and the fact that Hasselback sprained his MCL should be taken into considertation. The voting should end at the end of the season , not so prematurely.

Dont get me wrong , I like Romo's escapabilty in the pocket.. but he is a concussion/fumble waiting to happen when he starts moving in the pocket.

Unfortunately, its seems like that is when he is at his best.

Yea and the girly boy, is Mr. Awseme. please give me a break, i've seen him crack so many times under pressure its beyond ridiculous. I can't wait till he gets his first NFL sack, so he can see the difference. And understand his time is short

Let's face it: Brady Quinn is just a rookie

In other news, the Titanic didn't make it.

Dargon. I am wondering- how do you explain Michigan 2005. USC 2005 when he took the team down the field in the last 3 minutes and scored- and if not for an illegal push that was convienently not called ND wins there. UCLA 2006. Last minute drive to come from behind. YOU KNOW NOTHING.

For OGT and the rest of the pack: why don't you do some searches and come up with first practice quotes on Brady, Roths, Palmer, etc. You will find some of the same things said about them. Look at how Eli Manning looked early on (on second thought, bad example). even peyton did not look all world his first few practices- and he was possibly themost pro ready QB I have ever seen.

Face it...if Quinn went out and had a spectacular practice....these same naysayers would be in here saying "it was only one practice."

Reading that stuff about rookie quarterbacks got me thinking on Romo. I think it's positive that he had some time to adjust to the NFL and wasn't rushed out. Not a ringing endorsement, but still nice to read.

What do you base this on? I am not calling you out, but I am curious. I haven't seen anything from Quinn that would make me think that he was pro bowl material. I personally think that Quinn will be a lot like Kerry Collins without the big arm. I think he will be a serviceable QB, but never a truly great one.
He bases it on his avatar. And nothing else.

Glad you caught that.

Peyton actually looked pretty good early on. As did Roethlisberger.

If you're comparing him to Tom Brady, that's a horrible comparison. Brady wasn't ready coming out. He was a 6th round pick because of that. No one is saying Quinn can't get better. It's just that a first round pick shouldn't be too shaky, especially considering all the talk about Quinn being ready for the NFL because he played in a "pro offense" under Weis.

I don't think Quinn was worth a first round pick. So, it doesn't surprise me that he looks bad. Could he improve in 3-4 years? Absolutely. But a first round QB shouldn't take 3-4 years to improve.

I know nothing? please i watched all those games, and i continually saw Brady crack under pressure, you can point out two games, but i can point out more where the pressure has been on and he's cracked like an egg. (bowl games anyone?)

Brady is going to be a failure, and i don't need mini camps to prove it.
