Brown's release Austin Davis

Wow Broaddus, Takes me back to the draft show when he said the Cowboys weren't gonna draft Zeke. Smh

I remember one show a guy called in and said we needed Zeke because we needed to get back to our winning formula like we had with Demarco.

Broaddus unloaded on him and basically told him he had no idea what he was talking about and that the Cowboys have decided to put resources into the oline and not the RB and for the guy to basically shut up.

LOL............classic Broaddus

This is just going to be a workout for Austin Davis, so maybe the Cowboys are just updating their emergency lists for future reference.

I mean, if this guy can't cut in in the QB graveyards in St. Louis and Cleveland, how bad is he?

Someday people will realize that if Broaddus talks about how a DL or OL plays he often is correct but when it comes to NFL business and players away from the los he has no clue.

There is nothing to realize. He is essentially a talk show host. They talk. Most of the people talking for a living about sports are 95% wrong about everything.

I actually think they feed him misinformation. cause he will claim to have talked to people in the front office and it will be flat *** wrong.

This team develops jack at QB.

Either QBs suck when they get here and continue to keep sucking or they are legit from the get go (see Romo and Dak).

I have yet to see any QB here that started out sucking and turned out to be pretty good, just doesn't happen with this team.
Yep..

and thats why I'm very hesitant to assume this staff can develop any QB not named Romo.

With Romo they more or less took the reigns off allowing him to call his own plays at the LOS..

which puts all accountability on Romo and neutralizes the coaches substantially.

As long as we won..fine..

but if the wheels started coming off..problem.

But with all Romo's downtime now..

that's all moot.

I expect a significant change in the offense for the better because we will see Linehan and other offensive coaches write the script instead of Romo improvising all the time.

DAC will follow the script and since Romo"s tendencies are out the window..

I expect better offense with less predictability.

A good thing.

The good thing is that it appears that Dak has enough natural talent that he can overcome subpar coaching.

Cassel and Weeden obviously couldn't and Moore's problem is that he is 4 foot tall and cant see over his line...............LOL

I think we are going to see DAK do a lot of running from the pocket and that is going to slow down the pass rush.

Lots of roll outs and QB draws..too.

Not so much as called plays..but improvisations from DAK.

I see a lot of big plays downfield as he can throw on the move..

he zips the ball quickly.

Unlike Romo who holds the ball too much.

A very different offense I see coming..nothing like 2014.
