Brown's release Austin Davis

Austin Davis' entire pro resume is one game where he torched Mo Claiborne. I was at that game. The single worst performance by a DB ever. And yes, Mo ended the game with a pick. Doesn't make up for the other 59 minutes where he was abused like a rented mule

His resume is a bit better than you're trying to make it out to be.

Why would they tell a remoter what they're going to do? Disagree, most of his takes are merely speculation.

Broaddus also thought Romo merely sprained his butt bone. I respect Broaddus for what he does and some of the info he presents, but he really is like Jerry where you have to filter a lot of what he's saying.

Just heard Broaddus shoot this down. Sounds like he was told by someone in the FO they don't like Davis.

Well outside of Dak when has the organization been good at finding QB's??

I really don't get why they're going to sign another QB. Every one available is a bum. They were probably only going to keep 2 anyway, so you might as well just roll with Prescott and Showers.

Yeah right..

the guy is lucky he has been in Dallas where we can't evaluate QBs very well.

Hopefully we won't screw up Prescott.
This team develops jack at QB.

Either QBs suck when they get here and continue to keep sucking or they are legit from the get go (see Romo and Dak).

I have yet to see any QB here that started out sucking and turned out to be pretty good, just doesn't happen with this team.

Does it really matter? There aren't enough high quality QB's to stock 32 teams and we're talking about players that can't even get the backup gig.
That's a good point.

Look, we have lost Moore, Romo, and if you add Dak to the list, that means we are down to our 4th string QB if Dak gets hurt.

When an NFL team gets down to their 4th string QB, it really doesn't matter anymore because the chance of winning is like 5% at that point. We roll with Dak and if he gets hurt, we then tank. There is virtually nobody you can sign or trade for at this point in the season that is going to be ready if Dak goes down the first couple of weeks while we are waiting for Romo.

Truthfully. It doesnt happen with many teams. But, l agree, player development has not been great in Dallas at least in the recent past.
