News: Browns restructure WR Cooper's contract to create $15 million in cap room

I am far from being a cap expert, but I think this restructure only kicks the can further down the road for the Browns. At some point they are going to have to pay Cooper the entire value of his deal; it will just be spread out among future years with this move.

It's clear the Cowboys just wanted out of the Cooper contract altogether. Either way it's time to move on, what's done is done.

Cleveland is not purgatory like it used to be. It wont digest for Cowboys fans but Cowboys are the purgatory. Browns front office and team is better than Cowboys.
