The entire end result draft? Sure. Can’t say that about individual picks in the early rounds. LVE was a huge miss and gamble, Escobar, Jaclyn Smith, Bruce Carter the LB from North Carolina some years back, list goes on. This franchise screws up 2nd rnd picks ON PURPOSE. I’m totally convinced of that.
No team hits on every pick, none
End results is what counts

You are quite easily impressed, Johnny.

Gallup, Schultz, and Williams are average or better NFL starters. LVE and Wilson are sticking around and can play.

It's not a top draft because there is no elite talent but it was a good team building draft. 3 starters in one draft is outstanding.

3 starters: LVE, Gallup, CWill
2 rotational players: Schultz, Dorance
1 roster filler: Ced Wilson

That's phenomenal drafting.

All 6 of those guys are NFL players even if Dallas cuts them today they get signed elsewhere.
That's what you want in drafting outside round 1. Go find NFL players.

Dallas picked 19th this draft not 5th. To pick outside the top 15 and end up with this haul is really great drafting.

My rule of thumb is if you get two starters out of a draft, you had a pretty good draft. Williams and Gallup are both quality starters. On top of that, we got some decent pinch hitting from Schultz and Cedrick Wilson.

Vander Esch is unfortunately disappointing... a dominant rookie year that was almost worth a 1st round pick alone, and then nothing but injury and frustration since. Micah Parsons is probably going to push him off the roster.
