This board is slow to the party on Kendre Miller, time to wake up. RB1 material for the 2023 RB group for me, we'll see tho.

Mute video if your sensitive to trap rap music.

A lot of people like the Thunder and Lightning approach. Me, I like Lightning and Lightning. I'd love to see Tony Pollard and Devon Achane in the same backfield.

I’ve had the pleasure of watching him closely over the years, that kid is electric. Having a great game this evening too.

Keep Pollard and thank Zeke for his time. He’s been well compensated. Draft his replacement.

How about just keep the current 3.
If they re-sign Pollard I guess they could make his 1st year hit manageable and keep Zeke. But his cap charge is like 18 mil. They’ll ask him to take a huge pay cut. He’ll probably decline and they’ll cut him. Truth is his best bet is to take the cut and come back. He’s gotta know that no team is going to give him anything more than a small 1 year deal.

Could Jerry breakup Dak with his besty Zeke?! lol
Hard to imagine but we might have to. Draft Bijan Robinson
or Deuce Vaughn, both of which have incredible hands, and
look to be potential future HOFers. Then no one will remember who we cut.
Especially running behind this Dallas run block which is sensational!

Because it's dumb cap management, that's why.

Pollard is going to cost you. He's not going to be cheap. You already are going to take a $17 million cap hit for Elliott next year, which is downright preposterous for a RB. Now add in a decent cap hit for Pollard and you are looking at like $20 million + in cap charges for the TB position. Idiotic.

And there's only way this could get even worse. They could also restructure Elliott lowering his cap hit in 2023 but then ballooning cap hits down the road which would be ridiculous. The only way Elliott should be back is if he takes an actual pay cut. If not, see ya Zeke.

Really? If they are so dumb, why have they been the best team in the NFC over the last 2 seasons? Do you think that you could do better? Personally, I feel that you would complain about something no matter what they do.

I don't draft a back before the third day. I actually think Davis could get 10-15 snaps a game and rotate with Pollard (assuming you can bring him back at a reasonable price).

The best team in the NFC over the last two seasons? LOL, they lost a divisional round home playoff game year. So they weren't the best team in the NFC last year and certainly are not this year at this point.

Elliott has a bad contract. That's not even up for debate at this point. His cap hit next year is $17 million. You want to resign Pollard. He's not going to come cheap. You are probably looking at a $5-6 million cap hit for him next year. If you keep both, at that projected cap hit, the Cowboys would have over 10% of their cap tied up in two TBs. You won't find a team in the NFL that even comes close to that kind of cap/roster management.

I actually think Jerry knows this and he'll approach Zeke about a pay cut. But that's unlikely so I suspect Zeke is a cap casualty and will be cut at some point, possible a June 1 designee. The reality is that without a pay cut by Zeke, the odds of both Pollard and Zeke being here are low.

The fear is that they let Pollard walk and keep Zeke.

Their record is the best. You are what your record says you are. They are 20 and 8. No other team in the NFC has been better.

20-8 makes them the best in the NFC? Better than the team that won the Super Bowl?

My guy, not a chance anyone actually believes that?

The 3 and 8 Rams won the Super Bowl. Yes, the Cowboys are better than the Rams. How can you not think that the Cowboys are not better than the Rams? That is ridiculous.
