But to listen to most of this board the Giants were lucky to win. It sure doesn't make me happy, but that was just a dominating performance by NY's defense. They absolutely shut down the best offense in the league.

Meanwhile, while our D played very well, it is no comparison. As everyone has been saying here for weeks on end as we all disparaged their six game winning streak (and now six out seven), the NYG offense is one of the worst in the league. Heck, the BROWNS defense shut them down. So I'd have been really concerned if ours didn't.

Wow.

Dallas had 15 possessions last night. 12 went for 5 plays or less.

In the second half, Dallas had 7 possessions. They ran only 31 plays for 76 yards in the half.

Ugh.
2.5 yds per play...and I rounded it up...gulp!

Yup pretty dismal, but go look at the total stats for both teams. They were almost identical, including TOP. It wasn't a good game for either team, by any means, but the Giants made the plays that we couldn't. It happens. I hope to see them in the playoffs because I have no doubt we will kick their butts.....

CZ homers told us all off season how it is not wise to spend money in FA and how the Giants defense would be horrible with overpaid FA like Jenkins and Vernon
Its talent acquisition. People look at down at FA because of the jersey collecting that Snyder and Roseman do that never works out.

In Oliver, Harrison and Jenkins the Giants added legitimate peices to strengthen a defence

Its a division game. Throw stats, rankings and records out the window. Making any comparison to the Browns to last night game is foolish

Thanks! Peeps around here said the Giants had a mediocre defense at best. Now after the game everyone is saying their defense is the real deal. I don't know what to believe
Because it is in their interest to find a reason for the dumpster fire disaster area that was the Dallas offense on Sunday night. A bit of denial if you ask me. The Giants defense has given up slightly more points per game than the Dallas defense...which is now slightly below 19 ppg after last night. IOW, teams have been able to score as many points against the Giants as they have against the Cowboys. Fact of the matter is that Romo is light years ahead of Prescott when it comes to a Steve Spagnulolo defense...and in his last 5 starts against the Giants he is 5-0, engineering 29.8 ppg.
